Katsina begins staff audit

The Katsina State Government, on Monday, commenced a Manpower Audit and Verification exercise.

The chairman of the committee set up to conduct the exercise, Alhaji Rabi’u Abdu Ruma, revealed that 15 ministries, departments and agencies had been shortlisted for the first batch of the exercise, which commenced on Monday at the state secretariat complex.

The exercise commenced at 10am and closed at 5 pm on Monday and it is expected to last two weeks.

The spokesperson for the committee, Hassan Tukur said the exercise was in line with the wish of  Governor Dikko Radda to have a reliable database for the state workforce and ensure efficiency in the civil service.
