Nigerians more open to finding love online Joro Olumofin
A popular social media relationship coach, Joro Olumofin, has said that Nigerians are now more receptive towards finding love online.
Asked how he felt about how his brand had evolved over the years, Olumofin told Saturday Beats, It has been amazing, because Africans usually dont like to share their relationship issues. But now, Africans are willing to share, and people are open towards finding love online. Before now, online dating was seen as a taboo. In the last two years, a number of couples have met and got married through my platform. Nigerians are really evolving mentally.
On the highpoint of his matchmaking career, Olumofin said, The highest point of being a love doctor was when a couple met on my platform, and I thought I was just going to attend their wedding as a guest, but I was put on the high table with their parents. That made me see firsthand how big and impactful what I am doing is.
The self-acclaimed love doctor also stated that he was not bothered about people who feel the stories he shares are fake. He said, There is absolutely nothing I can say about that. People choose to believe what they want to believe. Even Jerry Springer (an American talk show host) was called fake. They said he hired people to come for interviews. There is nothing one can do about that.
