I�ll be accountable to all, says Kebbi gov
Dr Nasir Idris, on Monday, took the oath of office as the Governor of Kebbi State.
Idris, in his inaugural address, pledged to rebuild the state and promised not to betray the leadership trust given to him by the people of the state.
He said, �Now that we have taken over, we will run an all-inclusive government as we intend to return governance to the people of Kebbi State.�
The governor promised to be accountable to the people of the state regardless of tribe, religion, and party.
Idris also assured the people of the state that his administration would implement social welfare policies that would have a positive impact on the poorest in the state.
�We shall also reform the civil service through capacity building of workers and good environment,� the governor said.
